The story of this version of the game is very different with the other versions of the Call of Duty series. The story of the game dates back to the 60's. The main character of the story, Alex Mason, is an experienced CIA veteran who was arrested at the start of the game and taken to a Russian prison, then rebelled in jail and the prisoners escaped. There are a lot of ambiguities and holes in the story, but the pitfalls of these holes are filled and we are witnessing a very good story.
